I had applied for Canadian immigration almost 2 years back and I got the passport request from Buffalo office( I am in Toronto on student visa) last month. I sent it and now they have come back to me...

I have been through the same boat u are going thru.

First of all you have to wait till you get your work visa in hand to start working. Yes you can stay in canada after you have work...
