As well as London, consider areas west of London where the M4 motorway runs. The Finance companies have all the decent property leases in London and many tech companies are moving West....

I'm about to go on a 457 and I know that "education" costs can be claimed back for tax after you have paid the initial sum - I don't know if "childcare" comes under the same banner though

I'm in a similar situation and found some schools that had posted their fees on the web. I found the sites through http://www.gomatilda.com, then the schools section.
