Alberta, Manitoba and BC. BC was my favourite. Although I am not a hiking, mountain climbing kind of person, the people were fab and the scenery was breathtaking.

Winter. Winter (hard core, cold, WINTER) is about 4 months long. Then you get 2 months of just mildly cold.

The U.S. Wayyyy too close to the US for their own good.
