Very many thanks to all the valuable replies!

The RRSP plans were set up when we first landed in Canada, and were part of our plans of our new life there.

Sadly, it didn’t materialise well...

Perhaps it’s apt to say why we were pushing to move to Canada…let’s say, when family relations were good, we used to visit Canada...

I do realise it’s quite a big leap to move somewhere new at our age; hindsight is a wonderful thing…we should have done this years ago...
