thanks for the reply! I’m reading online that once my POE letter has been issued it has essentially used up my participation in the scheme? That’s from 2017 though and you’ve been absolutely spot on...

I applied for an IEC this year and got it accepted in August, my port of entry letter is for august 2024, I don’t suppose you know whether or not my term will be for 2 or 3 years?

Think we might have our wires crossed but I’ve no intention of giving up the IEC if I’m accepted, from my understanding if I’m given a port of entry letter I’ve got a year from its issue date to use...

I hear what you’re saying but I’ll need a year to save anyway so it seems a good option. Aye studying in Canada is unfortunately too expensive. I do want a masters degree too so going to go for it.

I’ve got an honours but doing a masters this year because it’s an extra 30 something points incase I don’t get iec or can’t get PR from it.

she’s said it would be silly not to apply given the cutoff for age etc.

if I was to want to go it’d be before I’m 35, regardless I appreciate you taking the time to do that. I think my score would be around 450 but I’d have half a chance at a PNP with a score like that...

ahh, I had thought when you turn 30 that’s it. Knowing it’s until you hit 31 is interesting, that’s certainly something I’m going to look into.
