You may be surprised to find that a lot of electricals are 110v friendly, I've just moved and tested everything, the only things that weren't suitable was a laser printer, turntable and kitchen...

It was a new build that i put a little bit of money into and still sold at a small loss, bought and moved in June 2022 and completed sale in December 2024 so over the 2 years of occupancy, with it...

Thabkyou, I'll speak with an accountant, are HR Block suitable as there is an office nearby.

Hopefully I may not need to pay tax, I bought the house 31 months before selling (primary residence)...

I sat my computer and road test yesterday and passed :lol: as you said both were pretty easy, questions around the school bus and a few on braking distances, nearly all were pretty obvious, I had one...

Good to know, we looked at a few places around Spartanburg but some where just a little too far away from shops etc and Boiling Springs seemed to have everything we wanted.

Yes, i've found a house in Boiling Spings just outside of Spartanburg.

oh, my SSC has arrived alreasy so I'm glad I didn't manage to get an appointment in Michigan when I was there.

I'm assuming it will go to the same address that I used for the permanent address where my green card will be mailed too (there wasn't a specific question about SSC), if so then yes it's my in-laws...

I'm expecting to be working for closer to 15 years before retirement so hopefully all good.

My current employment offers healthcare as part of the package so will be covered from when I land...

If you have savings and/or assets over 3 x the poverty guidelines amount (currently $76650) then these can be used, it's what we have used as my US wife is currently living in the UK with me.

We've just received the WL and paid the fees, just waiting on the payment clearance and then I'll upload the I-864 & complete DS-260, hopefully we'll have them both complete this week :fingerscrossed:

Thank you, after a bit of googling we found H&R Block which allowed us to enter the NRA on their site and submit taxes electronically
