ok thanks, that's useful. I had assumed it probably would require an address as I assumed the residence certificate would also record the address (if not on the certificate itself, then in some sort...

Irish passport is part of the EU so will not be classed as immigrant. I haven't seen or heard anything anywhere about needing witnesses. Half the info I find doesnt mention needing proof of address...

I don't need proof of address? it's one of the (several) bits of conflicting information I keep seeing when I look around. I can give them an address if they ask, i just wont have any official...

Thanks, it does seem to be a bit of a mess as I keep finding links to SEF documentation about getting the CRUE but then its a broken link, and haven't found any useful documentation on aima either.

Looking at moving to PT and just trying to figure out the logistics of the initial move. The way I see it I have 2 options, just go, get a hotel and then sort out finding a 6m-1y rental property...
