What sheet???? We are talking about a permanent resident card, aka Green Card, NOT about the green I- 94.

It´s on the UCIS website, just search for advanced passenger manifests, the airlines must provide the info before the flights arrive or depart.

You´ll lose it no matter what, you give up your residence here.
The only thing you could do would be applying for citizenship or maintaining your residence by continuing to pay rent, frequent trips...

Why did they question your residence if you were only out of the US for some days?

Normally they start questioning you if you were out for months.

I find this somewhat strange....

are you talking about a reentry permit?

That´s the only legal solution to the problem.

I spend about 12 weeks in my home country due to surgery.

I did not keep my boarding pass, because I allways thought they have a kind of tracking system, but I wondered...
