Thank you for your reply. This is reassuring as a lot of people I talked to seems to think even spouse visa will have to do the 10 year route instead of 5.

Thank you BritInParis. That's great news, so both VAF4A Personal details form and Appendix 2 Financial Forms are for application from North Korea only. The paper forms are very difficult to fill-up.
