If you left country by deadline in letter, then you have nothing to worry about. You would not have any ban on file.
You can also request copy of your data held on SIS for any Schengen country...

Of course, you must declare all world wide incomes/transactions in PT tax return.
You will be taxed in PT on full gain from sale, less amount already paid to UK. Unless you use proceeds to buy home...

What works for Australia, will not work with Schengen controls/rules.
