I asked for a certified copy statement from Barclays which they have now sent. It is stamped: Certified Copy. However, it is in black and white and looks very much like its just come out...

oh, ok, that's good to hear. VFS Global has done the same when we have applied for visitor visas in the past several years. They ask you to bring originals and a copy of each and then they just scan...

If it has all been earned legit and taxes paid etc., then he should able to do it as a bank transfer from one of the main Chinese banks to his in the UK. Be a it of paper work but i'm sure his school...
