As the previous poster stated, no company in reality would ever spend thousands of $$$ sponsoring you for a green card when you could immediately go and work anywhere else- contract or no contract....

I’ve heard that private schools pay worse also!
Teaching salaries vary widely from state to state, as do the number of vacancies.
I’m a qualified, experienced UK teacher who moved here on a spouse...
