We are pensioners and moved to spain in March 20. Our house in UK sold on the 5/3 and we moved to rented property in spain 3 days later.

The contract is a yearly contract which has rolled over for the last three years.
The proposed rent rise is from â‚¬500 to â‚¬800.

From what I have found on line according to the Spanish tax band 19% tax is taken from 0 to 12450 euro and a pensioner age 65 would get an...

Not surprised at paying tax but was surprised about the big difference between UK tax and Spanish tax.
