House sale
Hi
I have seen info on this before but cannot find thread.
We are pensioners and moved to spain in March 20. Our house in UK sold on the 5/3 and we moved to rented property in spain 3 days later.
We are about to start our first tax return in spain and my question is, will I have to pay Capital Gains on the sale of my UK property?
As mentioned I think I saw a thread advising that as a pensioner we would not be liable for CG.
Any advice please?
Thanks in advance.

Re: House sale
No you will not have to pay CGT, there is a blanket exemption for over 65s with no conditions attached, apart from the fact that the house sold was your permanent residence.
