Hello Nicky.
Arrange for Telegraphic Transfer of the pension to an Australian Bank - overseas cheques are not paid on presentation at many bank - instead sent for collection which means 6 weeks...

It's 30 plus in Sydney CBD and I understand about 40 out in western suburbs Alfresco. I hope everyone's happy with that now! hehe (Is it Autumn yet?)

Hi Jojo.
Gold Coast is very lifestyle oriented and you have EVERYTHING in close reach. I understand it is the fasting growing area in Australia over last 10 plus years but I can go back to the 70's...

Ditto Northern beaches - commute can be tiresome, housing extremely expensive, the locals can be insular depending what suburb you are in. Maroubra is a transitioning area - from government housing...
