Thats good then, if you just need it to be a one year i would hope that would pass.
even if wes don’t see it that way i would then take it CES (who also do avce as diploma) and the Alberta one which...

Hi.

I got the outcome as a two year diploma just yesterday! Now I can select two or more degrees / certificates.

I don't know what the reasons are if it was due to be it being worth two...

That’s good atleast (on the institution), i always considered it secondary. If you google BTEC ECA assessment i can only find WES considering a diploma (two years) even though it’s level 3 like mine....

It’s called an AVCE (advanced certificate of education) it was a pilot course from 2000 and discontinued in 2005.
It’s the same as a BTEC college diploma which is post secondary as seen here :

ah i get you, yes you only get 8 more but because you have two degrees hence more qualified you get extra points for skills transferability factors.... pasted off calculator :Skill transferability...

I’m not going off the calculator where you need 67 points to apply for expressed entry. I’m in expressed entry system already as i have over 67 points.

I’m referring to the comprehensive ranking...

The V stands for vocational haha! It was designed to lead into Uni or a job, but the work was all classroom based.
Me neither but so far no one has failed (that have confirmed online) to not get it...

Nope, i upgraded the report so it’s not two independent assessments. So if successful it would then read “bachelors (four years) and diploma (two years).
The requirement states clearly two or more...

Atleast I know that now thanks.
I only saw one document he did the same course as me in the same year and got it passed as post secondary, he was using it for immigration purposes for ‘two or more...

Because there’s no requirement for it to be post secondary, as long as your ECA assessment reads degree and diploma you can claim both. Also of you use the cic CRS point calculator is awards 30 CRS...

I use the ontario tax calculator. You add your employed income in and the btl income in ‘other income’, this groups the income ontop...

essentially if you rent a house out in the uk you do pay uk tax. Either its deducted by the estate agent or tennant when rent is paid, if you submit this form...

I get what you’re saying but HMRC does state payable in UK for btl income and then says it can be claimed back under the double tax treaty when reporting foreign earned income on the canadian tax...

Makes sense what you say about declaring it, but it does say on the link you will pay tax in the uk, nothing about just letting them know. Doesn’t this way make sense with the double tax treaty too?...
