We're doing it at the moment & its fairly complex, using Harding Wealth Management based in adelaide. He's an ex UK FA also qualified & registered in Oz,
there are loads of rules & tax implications...

I'm pretty sure that government schemes are not transferrable under any circumstances. Private or company schemes can be, but its fairly complex depending on values.

Hi Rosemary, i looked at quite a few FAs, & ended up with Simon Harding Associates, based in Adelaide but comes to Qld most months, very knowledgable & qualified both UK & Oz.

Hi, Has anyone Cashed in a UK Final Salary Pension & transferred it to Australia since the QROPS regulations changed, particularly one that was valued above the 3 year look forward limit.

Hi, hopefully someone can answer this for me.
We Left the UK 12 years ago & left our Pensions over there, I can theoretically draw on mine next year (age 55)
I know we cannot simply transfer them...
