Default UK Private Pension

I am looking at moving my UK Pension to a Australian SMSF (UK rules Applied), can anyone recommend a good company to perform this for me

We're doing it at the moment & its fairly complex, using Harding Wealth Management based in adelaide. He's an ex UK FA also qualified & registered in Oz,
there are loads of rules & tax implications you need to be aware of particularly if its value is above £30k GBP, & there is a yearly maximum transfer of $100k.AUD.

Thanks, but on reading the websites there seems to be a 3 year rollover so initially I should be able to bring over $300,000, then nothing for the next three years

Thats correct, you can also bring the growth of the fund since you became a tax resident subject to tax @ 15%,within the first 3 years then same again. Bear in mind i am expressing my understanding & i am in no way an expert.

Something for those thinking about transferring their UK pensions to Australia will need to consider is how the UKP is likely to perform relative to the AUD over the next few years.....
