Extended Stay - UK tax status query

My wife and I are hoping to make use of the SuperVisa new extended stay. We want to stay for 5-7 years but are confused about our tax status.

Since Canada are making changes to the SuperVisa, it’s now an attractive option ( unsuccessfully applied for PGP) for my wife and I to visit our son and grandchildren for an extended period.

Is anyone aware of the process for Grandparent/Parent sponsorship for 2019. I can’t find anything referring to 2019 only 2018.

i believe that the lottery process isn’t being used for 2019 but...

Thanks for that. I've 2 dogs, so £2000+ was worrying me. Flight vs kennel's was going to be a consideration. . would it possible to let me know how it goes ?

We looked at the Super Visa but were unsure how it actually worked. Do you have to leave Canada to renew the visa after 2 years ? How often do you have to have a medical ?
