I want to have a marriage ceremony in the UK. I'm a British citizen but my fiance is a foreigner (not EU). We're planning on registering abroad but wanted to have the official ceremony in the UK....

Great thanks, seems like that is correct but wanted to make sure it wasn't a set rule for foreign expiring visas.

I don't know was just an idea. Just looking to make our case to stay temporary. I change plans because I don't know the most efficient way to accomplish what we want which is ideally to stay one...

I'm a US/UK citizen so worries on my end. We don't have any current plans to return to the US and if we do it'd be under the spousal visa.

TBH I'd like to stay in China or UK after my program...

I understand you can stay in the UK up to 6 months with this visa.

Is it possible that my wife visits me for the full 6 months without a problem? We're not registered in UK but in another country....

I'm still currently in the US and most of the requirements don't explain any process if both persons are not presently in the UK. Does anyone know if there is any info for this...
