We were 22 days back in April, however I called them on Friday as we have our pets TOR URN and to see about adding our furnishings to it. I was told that they are currently working on applications...

Wow, that was high. I know it's a pain but resubmit for TOR and then reclaim VAT. Disappointing wait times for that, too. We are 6 weeks in and have heard nothing.

Yes, going into Ireland is a whole other ball game. We looked at that option, too, but it then gave us other headaches of getting the animals to Scotland.. always stressful!

We shipped our 4 pets back the second week of April and even the receiving center couldn't give us much advice on the whole TOR as it had just been initiated. Our TOR ref wasn't through but they only...

We pay $1500 to our US accountant for doing our taxes and FBAR reporting etc. on top of that we pay our U.K. Accountant, so what you have been quoted doesn't sound unreasonable to me.
