Oh really, I will look into that further as I haven't heard of it - though I guess we won't know until at least the end of Oct which may be a bit late and would only give us a year there.

Really it is what happens to his spouse visa. How he comes to Spain is another issue but I am hoping that he will be able to get sponsorship through my job or be transferred with his own.

We haven't had any emails but we paid priority and are on day 44 since the documents received in Sheffield email.

Yes we are married. The difference is that we have paid for Priority so should be within the 30 days (though this is not guaranteed) and we can see that most people who pay for priority are handled...

Oh no, don't worry. We are on day 27 but as they say, the 30 days aren't guaranteed. From what I can see from people's timelines it seems like Feb may be quite a slow month so we may even be waiting...

Amazing, thanks. That isn't how we understood it so that means that we are 8 days ahead of what we thought - though I know the 30 days isn't guaranteed. On day 24 now rather than 16.

Hi Ian, sorry to clarify - he entered the US and got his Green Card then was technically a resident living abroad as he was studying part time and was allowed to finish his studies.
