Yes the medical is dear....and seemingly cheap in NZ !! you can do a quote for here online with BUPA or medibank. We get Gold Hospital cover, some back for dental & optical but nothing for...

Id pick those (above) riverside suburbs over the Bayside places mentioned anyday.
Indooroopilly is a great place, the Bayside (Redlands ) is too far from the City for me and theyre too dead at night

If you want to live amongst holiday makers and a bit of noise then Broadbeach is cool, but if you want some peace I would recommend the New Meriton buildings in Southport, theres about 6 buildings...
