Yes I read about the possibility of leaving the Aga if we moved, however we don't intend moving once we build, we are retiring here. :)

Hmmm, yes all good points. It says on the Aga.co.nz website a new 3 oven Aga is $23,000 nzd. I bought mine for £500, secondhand obviously, but in good nic. I'm starting to think now perhaps I should...

Hi, we are bringing an Aga over from the UK to NZ. Did anyone else do this? What are the Pros and Cons?
Can they be serviced here, what is the best kind? I assume gas as oil doesn't seem to be that...

Thank you! All good things to think about. We are now looking at Hiluxs in NZ and motor homes in the UK, lol! Really appreciate your comments, just don't want to get to NZ and kick ourselves.
