Sorry no that wasn't clear on my behalf- the temp isn't linked to the longer term cover. Pulaski my reply overlapped with your post. Thanks yes I understand we can register with or without insurance....

How long after arrival on a visa do you have to put in for your driving test please, practical and theory? I take it you can't just use your UK driving licence indefinitely?!
