Slowly becoming the CBD of the Gold Coast, although the Coast is weird in that we don't really have a centre - lots of small ones like Southport, Surfers, Broadbeach, Robina ect

We're in Southport at Northern end - has everything you need for a small CBD and good access to beaches with reasonable access if you need to get to Brisbane. This area is often overlooked on Expats...

Our unemployment is higher than both the national and Queensland averages. Unfortunately our economy is built on construction, retail and hospitality which are the three areas usually most affected...
