Bukit Jalil is south of the city centre, and is anything from a 30 - 60 minute drive, depending on traffic (and the weather!!). There is an LRT station, which runs to KLCC and takes around 20-30...

We tried Uber, and found it less than reliable so now we use My Teksi again - the Grab Car option is particularly good.

We just make a direct transfer from our UK bank to our Malaysia bank (Citibank) - the process has been problem free and very quick - the same cannot be said for the transfer from our US bank :-(

Ampang to Alice Smith will be a lengthy drive each day. Damanasara, Bangsar or Mont Kiara are all closer, with good links to the school. There are also a good number of other families...
