Uk passport renewal

Hi, used the online service to renew my passport a week ago and my old passport is in the mail currently. I paid the fees at the time, confirmed by email and on the website.

Anyone have any idea...

I had this exact email and sent copies of my passport and new photos to Ottawa and it took about 9 days for my COPR to arrive in the mail!

Had a little Christmas suprise the other day, came home from work and checked the mail and the Sydney NS CPC had finally mailed my PR card :) I can now breath a sigh of relief and realize the process...

IF you are CURRENTLY in Canada and will be for at least three months then send the requested documents (passport scan, info form and two photos) to CPC Ottawa.

If NOT in Canada send the same...

Yes they send it back to the DVLA. I was given a photocopy of both sides of the card and the paper portion along with a yellow cc of the ontario licence application form.

Just changed mine over two days ago at the test center in Aurora, it's a quick process takes about ten mins. You surrender your two part UK licence, sign some forms and do a super fast eye sight test...

Posting this sitting in YYZ arrivals waiting for my wife to pick me up!

I am now a landed permenant resident! No line whatsoever and two very friendly staff,took less than 12 mins in total !!

I had mine done at a Nuffield Hospital and it was about £350 so yours doesn't sound too expensive at all. Crazy though for what is for most people a very fast medical.

Myself and Ashpo recieved our COPRs in Canada within about 7 days of them receiving the passport photos. :)
