When he applied he told CIC that the FBI application was submitted and he sent a scan as an additional document as proof. They have got back giving him until mid-July to submit but this is still too...

My son, waiting for his POE got a letter from Kompas saying all he needs to do is supply a US police check (he was there for more than 6 months last year)in addition to the UK one... BUT they take...

So (if money was no object...) can people do 90 days return home then pop back again for another 90 days? i.e theres no upper limit that you can...

IEC Canada 'popping' in and out of the US?

My son got his IEC and will be living and working in Canada. He has friends and family in the US and wants to 'pop in and out' if possible throughout his stay (2 yrs) But is this possible?

We decided to just fill it out - its unclear. As I understand EVERYONE is 18 or over - except for those who are minors from the following countries...

My son's CIC Stage 2 is sent off and he wants to book his flights now as they are going up every day. And 'off-track travel' that very useful website seems to be offline ....pity as was very useful...

I think we are in the same boat as you and Rani (?) The UK police check is quick but its another whole lot of work sourcing fingerprints and then waiting for the FBI who have huge delays. The US...

But he was a UK student at a UK university, he had a year's visa for the States that he used but whilst there visited other places. So he was never in one place for more than a couple of months.

Would be most interested to see the replies to this as my son has been successful in this round and was also a student in the states for a while last year, but he has entry stamps to Canada & Mexico...

He is only a UK citizen...We only spent a year in Aus and I got mine through my mother who now lives here in the UK. So that's a no go. (mores the pity)

He's been in non-stop education and now...

I think if money were no option doing a masters would be the best idea...BUT its so expensive as I understand it Masters are for 2 years and he wouldn't be allowed to work? If he was allowed to work...

OK 1st year in the UK then he did his 2nd year in the US on an exchange programme (study abroad) where the US grades were transferred back to the UK and then he is now finishing with his final year...

Yes he is currently within these 30 days and his flight home is within that -on 21 May so he will go to Canada and see if he can get an extension which should be quite straightforward? If not he will...

He is going to stay for two weeks in Canada and see if he can extend it - if not he will fly home from there and that will be within the visa time. As you say he can come back for two months and...

I don't think its such a big deal if all you are doing is spending loads of cash earned from abroad, not taking anyone's job, basically 'being a tourist' It doesn't mean you are an...

Sounds good, all he wants to do is enjoy holiday for a bit and go home...

Silly question why doesn't everyone just outstay their visa and then just go back to UK. You could then apply for another...
