I'm in Hoek van Holland and there are signs up telling you where you can let your dogs off lead but I also find that people don't tend to take much notice!! There is a no dogs rule on the beach...

I would rent at first so you can get to know the areas and property styles. Dogs are generally not a problem, we got turned away from one property because of it but have rented 2 different houses...

I learnt French up to A Level and found that quite easy.

With Dutch it's just the sentence structure I can't get the hang of, there is a different one for every single instance 😬

Thanks for all your advice. I had also heard that the TT schools pick the cream off the top and only choose fluent dutch speakers.
