There is probably a of lot Grey Areas here and good Point for Discussion.
I am not saying these people definitely don't need...

Car insurance for uk car import

So I am importing my car 15 years old to Halifax and driving it to bc in October.
Any idea how long I drive on uk plates for ?
Will I have to contact ICBC for insurance.

Any other advice ?

So a friend who's gone back to Canada is going to give me car that is in the Netherlands and not worth more than 1000euros. I have Cnd license and was thinking of bringing it to the uk till October...

I come into owning 1995 Fiat Panda with 16,000 miles on it, its in great condition.

I know I can import it but how easy would it be.

This car has special thing, for me. I know it probably not...

I was thinking of flying into the usa, renting a u haul and buying a whole bunch stuff that I need sofas tvs etc in portland driving to vancouver bc, when moving there.

In terms of working Tax credit, child benefit etc etc, How does it compare to the Uk. Thinking of moving to BC already have...
