Also having the same problem if I should take the leap to work in Caribbean. The pay is very attractive especially in Cayman.

Transportation - this will not be a problem. They have MTR, taxi, bus and tram to take you anywhere you like. Having a personal car in HK is luxury... and gasoline is like gold.

Hi Sal,

I was assigned in HK for more than 6 months and it was a great experience! The local HK people are very organized and friendly. I think it will not be a problem for an expat to live there....

I only have until Monday to decide if I will accept the Job offer in Jamaica. Salary is very low but the job position is a great opportunity for me to expand my skills and study and take board exams...

This is the only way going to Bag unless you have a car. Travel time is 5-8 hours. I suggest leaving in the morning about 4 or 5AM.

I think most, if not all, of the banks in the Philippines can send money to banks abroad. Either via wired bank deposit or telegraphic transfer. Make sure you have your benificiary's...
