Thanks leper,

That's great advice. We were thinking the same thing and want to rent before we buy and have decided to give ourselves a year of renting while looking as its a big decision.

Thanks casa Santo estevo, I think the flights will be ok as long as flights to Paris or London.

thanks ex reg I doubt my wee soxy boy will cope with the heat too much so it will be early morning and late evening walks for him. I was tempted by one of those dog prams for taking him further...

this is now my 4th visit and I have noticed that most times you rarely see the bright blue sky in KL. from what I have read on here there are places to go hillwalking etc I think Cameron highlands...

lots of public facilities have closed or are now on limited hours due to the current economic climate.
