He is of the view that we can apply now and have enough time to save the visa fee before it is required. I have only recently qualified so I haven't been in work long enough to have much in the sum...

That was my thought. Plus I don't want our visa to be held up because we can't pay the fee.

What would you suggest?
Saving for everything before we do any of the applications?
