Since the policy has not yet been officially rolled out, would it be wise to take risk the way Madras did and lodge the visa application for the ones who already have an invite?

Thanks again George. Looks like I am in a dicey situation now.

My current invitation will expire on 19th July, hopefully DIAC gives some clarity on this by then.
