We have PR cards already so our status is less of an issue. Currently studying for PMP and planning a job trip to Halifax this year.

Luckily I stayed with a retired couple last year whose son...

We move next year to Halifax and love the ties to Scotland and Ireland (being part Irish). On our visit last year saw the marching band at the citadel in all is Celtic dress. Wonderful.

Being realistic with getting a job.

I know it is a well worn subject, but as someone moving to Halifax early next year, am I realistic thinking I can get a job before I leave the UK.

Very interesting site. Beer seemed cheap in Halifax and Fredericton when I went out or bought it. But I was told many tales of how expensive spirits are in general.

All I can base it on myself is prices I took pictures of when I was in Vancouver (Mar 2011) and Halifax, Moncton and Fredericton (May 2012).

Could Vancouver changed so much?
