Thanks for that. Its only for a week whilst we look round and met people but I'll keep looking. Good suggestions for when we move as want to explore the area 1st before renting somewhere :starsmile:

If you get a job through the TWP route you need to to get 12 months of Canadian experience before moving onto another visa. Plus side is that you could work for a year and build the business part...

I know the feeling. I really don't want to work in my field and like yourself want to start my own business. The old PR system allowed you to go without a job offer and this was based on points alone...

Don't quote me on this but I was given the advice from an immigration consultant regarding my partners kids. If the ex is not willing to play ball then you can get a lawyer and sue for full custody...

Sounds clear to me. We want the children to have the option to be sponsored when they are older though so we're gonna have to go through the painful process of getting medicals done at some point.
