That's one tiny little location. Exactly where are you talking about? Look at the metro coastline from Mandurah to Yanchep and count up similar locations - would probably only take one hand, but...

Seals are not seen at the surf beaches around here, there are no warning signs and there is a mix of patrolled and unpatrolled beaches. People are just using the beach in the same way as they have...

This is one really important environmental issue of national and international significance. A few sharks being killed off WA is not, especially when 3 other states have been doing the same thing...

Sharks have not been coming right in to the shoreline at Perth metro beaches as regularly and in such high numbers as the past couple of years. It was a long time before I even heard a shark alarm...

As I said before, if you follow this type of thinking through, then there's only a couple of very small beaches in the Perth metro area where it's guaranteed that the sharks can't get through.
