Re: F***ing magpies

We have had 2 regulars and various offspring here to be fed since we moved in 8 years ago. Now there's only one of the old ones, but a few weeks ago we counted 13 others at the same time on the...

Re: DWP and State Pension - hope we've done the right thing

I wonder if that was because it was associated with the pension you were already claiming, rather than Mrs Wol claiming independently?

I know my mum was paid her own pension as a result of my...

Re: DWP and State Pension - hope we've done the right thing

I have not taken my pension, which I was entitled to 5 years ago. I deferred my pension by not claiming it. I am now claiming it and am entitled to 5 years' worth of increased pension or lump sum....

Re: Builder Required (Gold Coast)

Are you sure you need a builder? Our retaining walls were built by either earth-moving companies or landscapers.

Re: DWP and State Pension - hope we've done the right thing

Not for money

Re: DWP and State Pension - hope we've done the right thing

Scouse could have saved himself some trouble by just not filling in the form. You only need to fill in the form when you actually claim the pension - the deferrment happens automatically until you do...

Re: DWP and State Pension - hope we've done the right thing

Deferring taking the pension whilst in Australia means that you defer getting the frozen pension. So if you could get £100 per week now and defer until next year you will get the index-linked...
