This is the one I'm referring to. If you get a map of Al-Ain at the ADNOC it's actually listed...

Here's a map. If you look it's really the same distance, you just enter Oman sooner if you go through Hatta, but then you travel the extra distance in Oman

My co-worker used to go from Dubai through to Hatta (he goes every other weekend) but now he goes through the one point in Al Ain, because it is so much quicker as there are no border delays.

You should actually go through the customs point in Al Ain. There are two, if you get a map it says there is one for "nationals only" However, as there is NO ONE going through this point, they let...

The Middle East isn't very dog friendly in general, especially as a lot of people are pretty scared of dogs. But there are some nice parks in Abu Dhabi, and Al Reef village offers affordable villas...
