Wherever did you get earning bugger all from:confused:

If your family income is say $137,000 p.a. and you have two school/college going kids then you get paid the base rate for Part A.

Open an account with a reputable online broker in the US. I know one that offers free transfers AND gives you interbank rates.

Not really. We use myus.com and they're pretty good! They even shop for you for a small fee in case credit cards issued overseas are not accepted. There are many shops that have free shipping offers....

The education tax refund/this latest payment is therefore available to any family who is eligible for FTB Part A with school going kids whose family income is less that $138,000. So not really just...

I thought who ever was eligible for family tax benefits were eligible for this payment.

The family tax benefit A stops only if you family income is over $138,773 (for families with 2 kids). Are you saying a majority of families with kids earn more than this and hence ineligible?

A majority of families with school going kids will probably get this money as not many have incomes over $150,000 p.a.

She took a a class in fabric dyeing to make the leaves & trunks for this quilt. My family on the dad's side are very artistic and talented, unfortunately I haven't inherited this gene!
