Hi BritInWi,
You only need one picture with the same specifications as a UK passport. When I sent in my documents from Edmonton, Alberta we did not have a choice of courier the only accepted...

I had a look at the Upakweship website an unfortunately they do not ship from the west of Canada.

I also checked out Canada Post Surface and it is about 200 per box which is quite pricy.
