I have the opposite worry because my son isn't 3 yet and we are hoping to spend 2 years in the US. My concern is that we will arrive back in the UK, when he is 5-6 and he will have to start year one...

You've not been to my Mum's house then Bob! Modern houses and kitchens sometimes have one and a half basins - we currently live in a 5 bed, 4 bathroomed house and we still only have one and a half...

Amerlisa - I agree in my 44 years that is the only way I've ever seen anyone wash up in the UK. (Mind you I've had a dishwasher for the last 14 years, but I'm just a lazy mare! LOL)

We are asking for repatriation costs to be in the contract. It's a deal breaker for me.

CADreaming - I know what you mean, since we moved here 2 years ago much of our stuff is still in boxes...
