Yea of little faith! ;-)

Apologies I should have reported back.

Yes, police certificate uploaded and submitted. Took another 72 hours, but was approved no issue, with no issues on arrival in...

Re: Arrested released with no further action

That's what I did in the end. It went to be reviewed and now they have requested a Police Certificate, which i've applied for, so hopefully that will be sufficient for approval :fingerscrossed:.

Re: Arrested released with no further action

The additional help contradicts the question a little:

Have you ever committed, been arrested for, been charged with or convicted of any criminal offence in any country?

Select yes if you have...

Re: Pending B2 visa interview

Am I the only one that thinks the fact the ESTA was firstly approved after evidence was submitted and then a week later declined is quite strange/concerning?

Re: PoE advice - seminar visit

Indeed, I was just thinking incase my colleague is asked where he is staying, that the subject of his sister would then come up - not that it's an issue. I should spend less time over-thinking a...

Re: PoE advice - seminar visit

PoE advice - seminar visit

My colleague and I are intending to visit NYC in September, for a 5 day, 4 night trip.

Re: L1 Visa New Office to Green Card

Thanks for the info Michael.

I understand the point regards to the "what are they managing".

You mention meeting USCIS targets - is it difficult to get L1-A renewals, or is it a case of showing...

Re: L1 Visa New Office to Green Card

Currently about 20. We are still growing and the US operation we are considering is a 5 year+ plan in the future. I'm just trying to get the current L1 process and how it can lead to a GC clear in...

Re: L1 Visa New Office to Green Card

I muddled myself a little, but thank you for clarifying. All directors have been 1+ years and the company would petition for green card(s).

Re: Frequent Secondary Screening - What to do?

Just to add, I was let straight in on primary inspection on my recent Florida trip, so it looks like using the DHS TRIP programme has corrected whatever issue was in my record that kept sending me to...

Re: Visit to UK on AP

I thought you could only use these machines if you were US/Canadian or on the VWP (having previously entered after 2008)?

Did it give options for other visas then?

Re: My VISA WAIVER (VWP)EXPIRED....

I have the opinion that most infrequent visitors to the US will still refer to the whole process as the "VWP". The misunderstanding isn't likely to cause issue at the PoE.

Re: B2 with criminal history - Experience?

I understand what you're saying Ian, and yes they have changed it, but given the additional notes state they are talking about CIMT, I think people are potentially setting themselves up for grief at...

Re: How to apply for b1 visa whilst in the states on vwp

Just a thought, if you are looking for 6 months and have to fly home to apply for a B1 anyway, then why not stay for the 90 days the VWP allows you, fly home for a period of time, then fly back on...

Re: VISA to live but not work?

Not ideal, but if you want 3 months in the US and then 3 months working away, surely the VWP would satisfy with 90 days as a bit of a compromise, even though you'd have to show at some point how you...

Re: L-1 Visa application with criminal record

Agreed, applying for the B2 is a baaaaaad idea if you want the L1 - but having said that, surely the assault will probably make the VWP a non-starter anyway, meaning the only tourist option being the...

Re: Applying for a work visa

Indeed, it's frustrating, as if I was dealing with the same situation in the US, I believe I would have just been "invited in" for questioning, further enquiries and done, with no arrest, so from my...
