Cheers folks, we found one shop at broadway (9th) about three streets west of main. ( excuse my vagueness, only been here two days). Great wee shop sells all sorts of plugs and unlocks I phones.

yeah we have fallen for the false economy of a cheap hoover before only to find in 1 years time the combination of my girlfirends long hair and two large cats kill it entirely...

I reason I asked was due to the huge difference in cost. We could live without it at first if it meant saving a few hundred quid. thanks for suggesting I take it as hand luggage, i can only imagine...

The forms and applications are really self explanitory and have a good set of accompanying guides so you should be able to do it yourself. Paying for an agent really is a waste of money in my eyes...

You have to surrender your passport still to get PR, but you can accelerate the process (normally 4-6weeks) down to 2 weeks if you take it there in person.

technically it doesnt say (for the UK anyway) in the dodumentation i have read that you cant do them yourself. I am also sure that the photos are resized even by the professionals as it will all be...

ok i have spent far too much time looking this up on google...

single weight matte paper is approx 120gm weight single sided, and a matte finish... finding this is not as easy as you would think. ...

We did the photos for the full application thus far ourselves, using photoshop to size them exactly as per the requirements. I was doing the same again, however noticed they ask for this...

i could do that but then i would need to spend about £200 on flights for two trips to London, which i simply dont have.
Best just get them away and hope for the best. Even at 4 weeks it would be ok.

How long does it usually take from sending away your passports to getting them back. We had planned a recce trip to Vancouver at the end of April and on friday...
