So you transfer the pension abroad...once its transferred why would the UK care what you did with it?

Im in the same boat as you...ex job now living in San Fran but thinking of heading over to Dubai. Looking at all possible options and doing something totally different.

Have you looked at Daly City area? They have a Bart train station and rent should run you at around $1.5k a month or maybe slightly higher.

Ive just sent over an email to my HR as Im currently on a career break and ive told them why I need it. If they refuse I'll just call Fed rep and get them to sort it out.
