I think at age 6 she will be fine.....teenager, not so much.

We are Scottish too and brought our 14 year old to Canada.......it was a disaster taking her away from all her peers at that age.

So the best bet seems to be that you become tax resident and both hopefully survive for a further 5 years in say, Valencia...........therein your Spanish...

So maybe when he is 65, he may be eligible for a reciprocal deal when in Spain ??

I am not sure, I will contact DWP to see if they can advise us.
