Yep...l'm aware we have lived in a bit of a bubble here.

US society seems much more stratified than the UK.

In other words, you only get to live in a "nice" town here if you can afford it.

Looks like I'm going to be returning to the UK within 6 months.

Not something I want really, but the continuing uncertainty of visa extension and/or green card has gotten too muh.

I believe that because this is a Blanket L1, we don't need to individually petition.

That's not to say we don't need supporting casework though.

.NET developers, even very good ones, are pretty commonplace in the USA

L-1B Renewal

Hi,

I'm 2 years through my original L1-B visa (expires 24th April 2014).

I believe I can only extend the visa 6 months prior to the end date (24th November 2013).

It meets all your criteria in my opinion (rental of $3000 might be a little low though).

Thanks guys...

Just checked with my insurer (Aviva) and they also said that so long as its paid for via a UK bank account, it's fine.

Seems simpler than going through the convoluted process...
