I have a few friends in your situation. You are heading towards trouble. Your J-1 will be jeoperdized not by the ECFMG but by the visa issuing post. The two year waiver is difficult to get away...

Thanks so as far as the trip is of less than six months (outside of the U.S.A.) I do not have to get any permission and there is no problem; the usual green card condition/rule?

Thank you for the response. No the name was not changed and the results reads the same as yours. Tell me, if you know, what is an "administerative oath"? I guess your case is being processed in NY?

I guess I missed something about this temporary stamp. My green card is valid for the next few years. Just waiting for the oath. Should I travel just like regular green card holder? What is I-551?
