I dont mind rain at all and coming from scotland i am use to it.

thanks for the reply. i suppose you need to weigh things up. although more expensive it may well be a better lifestyle in terms of sun etc.

I think just back form the beach would be a bit quieter. i can speak basic spanish but i am learning...

i would say glasgow has more violence than robbery etc but neither are good i suppose.

excellent. i have read there is a lot of crime in andalucia due to it being so close to africa. is this true.

Im from Glasgow so anything crime wise will be better than here just thought i would...

ye that was my worry. i love the coutnryside and would be happy in a finca, for a while at least but i think the coast offers more for kids etc.

just dont want to stay somewhere where they show...

anninspain, would it be easy enough to make friends as it is a large town.

Where we decide to stay for a year will have a huge facotr on weather we stay for good or not.

Ye i think we will look more to the coast, at least for the year we come over to see how it is.

With more expat communities i think it will make it easier to settle.

ye i think if you were meant to be somewhere then you will feel comfortable there. life certainly is an adventure.
